2026: Here We Go — The Greatest Year Yet

Well… it’s been a minute.
After being laid up in the hospital for nine days, I can say this with confidence: God is good—really good. And I’m doing much better now.

So with that said… 2026, here we go.
I truly believe this can be the greatest year of our lives so far.

Why can I say that without hesitation?

Because there is no end to:

• the goodness of our Father
• the love of Jesus
• the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit

And when you start a year anchored there, you’re already winning.

Before Your Feet Hit the Floor…

Let me give you a simple, powerful habit that can change the tone of your entire day.
It works best before you even get out of bed.

Start your day by acknowledging the Lord and declaring truth:

“This is the day the Lord has made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it.”
(Psalm 118:24)

You’re not hoping for a good day—you’re declaring one.

Then remind yourself:

• Jesus is my wisdom
• Jesus is my peace
  
• Everything I need for today has already been provided

“Christ Jesus… became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.” (1 Corinthians 1:30)

That means today is already loaded with:

• opportunities
• joy
• divine appointments
• growth
• moments where lives change—including yours

Personalize It

Here’s the key: don’t just repeat words—make them yours.

Add Scriptures.
Add God-thoughts.
Add declarations that activate your faith.

Maybe it sounds like:

• “Today I walk in peace.”
• “Today I see clearly.”
• “Today I’m a blessing everywhere I go.”

Do this every day, and something shifts.
Not just around you—but within you.

Blessed to Be a Blessing

When you start your day aligned like this, you don’t just walk blessed—you carry blessing.

“From the rising of the sun to its going down, the Lord’s name is to be praised.”
(Psalm 113:3)

And the beautiful thing is—it’s contagious.

So here’s to 2026.
A year of joy.
A year of growth.
A year of seeing God move in ways that leave us smiling, grateful, and full of expectation.
