Life Group

"And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. Then fear came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were done through the apostles. Now all who believed were together, and had all things in common, and sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need. So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved." Acts 2:42-47 NKJV

Fall semester

September 29th - December 14th

Church Alive's Life Groups are 5-20 people meeting together once a week or biweekly for 10 weeks to learn more about the Bible, grow in their faith, and have fun meeting new people. At Church Alive, we firmly believe that the most effective way to experience spiritual growth is by being part of a community. That's why we strongly encourage individuals who are committed to following Christ to join a Life Group. Our Bible study and curriculum-based groups are designed to enhance your understanding of the Bible and foster personal growth. Whatever your season of life, whatever your interests, we believe the abundant life we all long for is found in a community. Don’t miss it!

Life Group is a place where:

Friendships are developed or strengthened
The Bible is applied in a practical way
Prayer is taking place

As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.

Proverbs 27:17

One part of our mission is simple: restoring everyone into full fellowship with Christ and others. While this can occur in a multitude of ways, one primary way this occurs is our Life Group environment.

Purpose

Recent studies have estimated that as many as one in five Americans suffer from persistent loneliness. This epidemic has hit us to such a degree that our generation has been named, ‘the age of loneliness,’ despite advances in technology. That’s why we encourage you in your communion with Christ and others because it is essential to the health and harmony of you as a human being.”
- Pastor Jason

“One of our mission statements at Church Alive is “Restoring: everyone into full fellowship with Christ and others.” While this can occur in a multitude of ways, one primary way we accomplish this mission is through our Life Group environment. It provides the opportunity to share your journey with Christ and hear others as well. You learn from each others knowledge, history, upbringing, and experience; which accelerates your spiritual development. Plus you might find meaningful Christ centered relationships along the way.” Loving one another is an essential part of Christian life. Jesus shares that everything He heard from the Father He made known to us as friends; not as a servant. Friends get the inside scoop on details. Friends have a mutual bond of affinity. They do life together. They share thoughts. Guess what? They enjoy being around each other.
