When we are in pursuit or seeking something you don’t let other things distract us. If we face obstacles we figure out how to get through them. For those of us who have been Born-Again and Filled with the Holy Spirit we know the Lord is worth continuing to seek with all our hearts. But if we’re not careful we let things of this life distract us or lead us away. Careers, desires, lust for other things. We inherently know that those things by themselves (without God) can not make us happy cannot full satisfy . So today may we once again ( it’s a daily thing) examine our hearts and set aside the things that have drawn us away. God wants our hearts first to be fully His, then pursue other things as our heart leads.
Lord once again, forgive me for where I have put other things before you. Thank You for your Love, forgiveness, mercy, grace , and goodness towards me . I set my heart towards You today and everyday. I love you Lord above everything else….
